UnladKabayan engages with local and national government, to highlight migrant workers´ rights and create policies that maximize the benefits of labor migration.

We raise the issues affecting migrants and social entrepreneurs in the Philippines, with politicians through the media and public events. Through our advocacy we strive to improve the living situations in poor communities.

UnladKabayan and its projects demonstrate that an asset-based, community driven, socially responsive and environmentally enhancing development strategy works at the local community level. In partnership with local and international networks we advocate for human rights including migrant workers´ rights, gender justice, and environmental protection. We work for a policy environment and governance supportive of community-driven development at the national and local level.
